Μελωδία, νοσταλγία, μυστικισμός, εσωστρέφεια αλλά και παιχνίδι είναι τα στοιχεία αυτού του ρεσιτάλ. Το πρόγραμμα ανοίγει με εμβληματικά έργα για πιάνο του αγαπημένου και ιδιόρυθμου Γάλλου συνθέτη Erik Satie και συνεχίζει στο δεύτερο μέρος με ατμοσφαιρικά έργα του 20ου και 21ου αιώνα Ελλήνων συνθετών και του Γεωργιανού συνθέτη Giya Kancheli.Γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Παίζει πιάνο από 5 ετών.Ασκεί τη σολιστική της καριέρα με συναυλίες, ηχογραφήσεις καιμαγνητοσκοπήσεις.Ασχολήθηκε ιδιαίτερα με τα σύγχρονα ρεύματα της κλασσικής μουσικήςέχοντας στο ενεργητικό της πολλές πρώτες εκτελέσεις, ενώ Έλληνεςσυνθέτες έχουν αφιερώσει έργα τους σ΄αυτήν.Έχει ασχοληθεί επίσης με τα ινδικά Bhajans, πειραματίζεται με τημουσική έκφραση και performance, αυτοσχεδιάζει και συνθέτει.Έχει γράψει επίσης τη μουσική για θεατρικά έργα που παρουσιάστηκανστο Εθνικό Θέατρο Αθήνας, Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδος,Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτο Θεσσαλονίκης, Θέατρο Αυλαία, Θέατρο Σοφούληκαι Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης.Ίδιαίτερα σημαντική είναι η πολύχρονη συνεργασία της με την ΆννηΤότσιου, με την οποία έχουν δημιουργήσει πιανιστικό ντούο καιερμηνεύουν έργα διαφορετικών εποχών και στυλ, κυρίως του 20 ου και21 ου αιώνα.

ΔΙΔΑΣΚΑΛΙΑ
 
Αγαπώντας παράλληλα βαθειά την εκπαίδευση, δίδαξε για τριάντα και πλέον χρόνια σε διακεκρμμένα ωδεία της Θεσσαλονίκης και στο τμήμαΜουσικής Επιστήμης και Τέχνης του Πανεπιστημίου «Μακεδονία».Από το 2005 διοργανώνει τα προσωπικά μουσικά της σεμινάρια με τημέθοδο focus training, χρησιμοποιώντας τεχνικές από τη μέθοδοSoundings του Πολωνού σκηνοθέτη Richard Nieoszym και κυρίωςειδικές πρακτικές Yoga του συστήματος Satyananda.Διετέλεσε διευθύντρια του Κρατικού Ωδείου Θεσσαλονίκης για οκτώχρόνια, προωθώντας την ολιστική προσέγγιση στην εκπαιδευτικήμουσική διαδικασία.
 
Τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια ζεί τον περισσότερο καιρό στην Σαντορίνη, με τον σύζυγο της και το πιάνο της.
 
LOLA TOTSIOU
 
Lola Totsiou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece.At the age of five years she started with piano lessons.Since 1980 she performs in concerts, recitals and chamber musicperformances in Greece and abroad, and she has recorded several performances forthe radio and television. She has to her credit numerous first performances of works from thecontemporary Greek and international repertory. During the years she has enhancedher repertory with Jazz works, new music and Indian bhajans.She improvises, composes and experiments with different ways of musicalexpression and performance. Her works have been performed, among others, at:Dimitria International Festival, Cultural Olympiad 2004, & Thessaloniki Concert Hall.She has written the music for theatrical works presented at the NationalTheater of Athens, the State Theater of Northern Greece, the French Institute ofThessaloniki, the Avlaia Theater, the Sofouli Theater and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.She is an excellent graduate of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and theMusic University of Heidelberg - Mannheim, with teachers E. Papazoglou and C. Back.For two years he studied with the internationally renowned pianist Zoltan Kocsisat the postgraduate department of the Ferenc Liszt Academy in Budapest.From June 2011 to July 2019 she was the Directress of the State Conservatory ofThessaloniki, promoting the holistic approach to the educational music process.

TEACHING
 
While deeply loving education, Lola Totsiou has taught for more than thirty years indistinguished conservatories of Thessaloniki and in the Department of Music Scienceand Art of the University Macedonia.Since 2005 she has been organizing her personal music seminars with the focustraining method, using techniques from the Soundings method of the Polish directorRichard Nieoszym and special Yoga practices of the Satyananda system, in which shehas been trained and is an instructor. She approaches the technique and interpretationof musical works by placing emphasis on breath and voice, relaxation andconcentration, as well as focusing on the awareness of the body, emotions andespecially sound.
 
For the last two years she has been living most of the time in Santorini, with her husband and her piano.
