Γεννήθηκα στην Αθήνα το 1970. Σπούδασα κλασικό μπαλέτο με δάσκαλο τον Λεωνίδα ντε Πιάν και μοντέρνο χορό στο Southeastern College και το Κέντρο Παραστατικών Τεχνών από το οποίο αποφοίτησα (Πτυχίο Διδασκαλίας Χορού). Συνεργάστηκα με χορευτικές ομάδες, όπως Εν πλω, Coro, Σύγχρονη Χορευτική Έκφραση, Ερμέρως. Ιδρυτικό μέλος της πειραματικής ομάδας Μεταίχμιο, με έρευνα πάνω στο σωματικό θέατρο και το θέατρο δρόμου, και παραστάσεις στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Παράλληλα παρακολούθησα σεμινάρια πάνω στο χορό και το θέατρο. Την περίοδο 2003 – 2008 έζησα και εργάστηκα στην Σαντορίνη ως καθηγήτρια χορού στα γυμναστήρια Μάινα. Το 2004 ίδρυσα τα τμήματα θεάτρου παιδιών και ενηλίκων του Πολιτιστικού Συλλόγου Θήρας. 2009 - 2012 παρακολούθησα μαθήματα ζωγραφικής στο εργαστήρι του Δημήτρη Σκλείδη. Το 2012 συμμετείχα με δύο έργα (κολάζ) στην 1 η Διεθνή Μπιεννάλε της Σαντορίνης. Το 2023 ξεκίνησα μαθήματα ζωγραφικής με την Μαριλίτσα Βλαχάκη. Έχω συμμετάσχει σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις με επιμελητή τον Δημήτρη Λαζάρου. Αυτή είναι η τέταρτη ατομική μου έκθεση μετά από τρεις που προηγήθηκαν στην Καρδαμύλη Μεσσηνίας. Εμπνεύστηκα κυρίως από έργα των φωτογράφων: Μαρία Γυφτοδήμου, Απόστολος Στράντζαλης, Κατερίνα Λειβαδάρου, Δημήτρης Ταλιάνης, Robert A. McCabe, Nelly’s και Βούλα Παπαϊωάννου. Φωτογραφίες έργων: Θεανώ Γκάτσου. H έκθεση αφιερώνεται στην μνήμη του Αντώνη Λειβαδάρου.  

EFTERPI EFI PLOMARITOU

I was born in Athens in 1970. I studied Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance at Southeastern College and at the Centre of Performing Arts in Athens. I have collaborated with dance groups such as En Plo, Coro and Modern Dance Expressions. From 1994 to 1997 I was a member of the dance group ‘Hermeros’. I was also one of the founders and member of the Experimental group ‘Metechmio’, which focused on the exploration of Physical and Street Theatre. The innovative nature of ‘Metechmio’ led to performances in Greece and abroad. Meanwhile, I also attended seminars in dance and theatre. From 2003 – 2008 I lived in Santorini and worked there as a dance and theatre instructor. In 2004 I formed a theatrical arts group for children and adults with the support of the Cultural Society of Thera. My studies in the aspects of painting began in 2009 under Dimitris Sklidis. In 2012 I participated in the 1st Biennale of art held in Santorini. In 2023 I started painting lessons under Marilitsa Vlahaki and participated in collective exhibitions curated by Dimitris Lazarou. After three personal exhibitions in Kardamili, Messinia, I am very proud and happy to be back in Santorini for my fourth personal exhibition with works inspired by photos of: Maria Giftodimou, Apostolos Strantzalis, Katerina Livadarou, Dimitris Talianis, Robert A.
